Coming back to the ART life fulltime has brought real magic to living again!
I loved to paint with acrylics, oils and cold wax, but soon discovered I really can paint with paper better. These old street papers have always been this collector’s obsession! The massive amounts of materials are driving me out of my studio!
Art has the rush of life, like my surfing huge waves, skiing down the toughest terrain, jumping into Industrial Design program, street Photography, riding my first motorcycle, a perfect drive down the fairway, building geodesic domes with Bucky, converting from Hippie to officers wife, having babies, shooting selfies with old Kodak, range shooting, flying airplanes, and working at Apple Computer.
Nothing really compares to the adventure I have been on since moving to Seattle 11 years ago. I was able to rescue walls of contemporary posters. I harvested 50 x 50 foot walls built to hide a torn down building. I documented the adventure for the future as these papers will soon become extinct. My favorite wall was suddenly torn down to make way for a parking lot.
Walking the streets for the perfect photograph inspires abstract art combined with Industrial Design BS degree and Graphic Design provides structure.
Art making is like looking at life through a huge magnifier! I intend to share this adventure with everyone.
